Talk about a great experience overall, the service wa son point our servers and bartenders were very knowledgeable about the drinks. The food was delicious and tasty, my fave was the huevos rancheros. I def recommend for brunch! It's such vibe!

Came here for Happy Hour martinis, grabbed a seat at the bar easily just before 3pm on a weekday. Atmosphere was a little stuffy, bartenders seemed to be more friendly with other patrons than others. Our bartender warmed up with us more towards the end. Martinis were good, we had two each. Lovely decor.

$10 Martinis? YES PLEASE! 10/10 highly recommend visiting this spot! My friend wanted Dirty Martinis, so I began searching for places in New York that offered them during happy hour! After some digging, I found Dante's West Village, which offers a happy hour deal on Martinis from 3-5pm. Woohoo! We decided to walk in because there were no reservations available between 1-5pm, and ended up waiting in line for about 30 minutes. So, plan ahead and try to get a reservation beforehand. The line is specifically during the happy hour, making 3-5pm their busiest time of the day. We all ordered Dirty Martinis, and the server presented them with a fancy flair (extra points for the presentation and warm greetings by the server in curly hair ). Since we got our table late, our second round of drinks wasn't part of the happy hour. Interestingly, the non-happy hour drink size is larger than the happy hour glass. However, both versions were very strong, so the size difference didn't really matter. Overall, I'd say this is a perfect spot for a date or meeting friends. But I can't emphasize enough--you need to reserve in advance! The only reason I was okay with waiting 30 minutes was because one of my friends was running late.

This spot is famous for their martinis, and they did not disappoint. Usually there is a wait, but we came here on a Tuesday and were seated immediately. The service was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The whipped butter is amazing, and I'm still thinking about it. I'll have to come back for a full meal in the future.

Gin happy hour did not disappoint - we were happy indeed. Came for the drinks, left happy because of the dinks. In all seriousness though, our waiter was super friendly and let us put and receive our order during the busy martini hour even when there weren't tables available. We were happy to sit outside for a bit to sip on our cocktails that he meticulously explained to us as he poured them out. We all got different drinks but I stand by my choice of the 20th century. The lemon had shown through without overpowering the rest of the gin flavor. The drinks overall were not too strong either but a very balanced mix that I could not achieve on my own. Although we never got to sit inside, we did get to try to desserts including the carrot cake and tiramisu. I did not have the former but the latter tiramisu was amazing. I would come here again solely to order that togo!

We were meeting up with some old friends in the Village and they selected Dante as a location for brunch. It did not disappoint! Here are some things to think about: - Atmosphere was great. We sat at a table near the window and it felt very private. - Service was excellent. - We split the Banana Bread to start, which was very good. My wife ordered the Harvest Bowl, which she really enjoyed, and I ordered the Mushroom Toast with an egg on top. I must say that the Toast was one of the best I've had in a long time...the wild mushrooms were incredible and while, at first, I thought it seemed like a small portion, it was very filling. - We didn't order any cocktails, but it looked like they had a good selection. The coffee was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Bottom line: Nice place for brunch...we'd go back next time we're in New York.

So far we've been lucky and been able to grab a seat and not need a reservation. But I'm sure there are times where the wait is long, outside seats had a 40 minute wait we were there on a warm fall mid day afternoon. This time we ordered a light meal since we had a late breakfast, we shared pasta and an app of olives. We started with latte coffees. The pappardelle with boar was luscious and infused with loads of flavor. The nice breeze that rolled in made it so nice to take a rest after walking. To top it all off in the room attached there was a jazz trio playing... such a chill vibe that just wanted to make you sit and sip coffee or a cocktail (they have a full bar on that other side) and relax. Love this neighborhood spot, it's a gem. If you'd like to sit outside on a nice day, plan ahead and make a reservation.

Back once again, and I have to give another 5/5 rating. Still beautiful as ever, delicious cocktails, and amazing service. We loved the bartender who served us because he gave great suggestions for what we would like, and went above and beyond. Love the special cocktails and cups they had during US Open, even giving out the cups!! Highly, highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in nyc. Highly recommend to everyone!!

It's take me way too long to get to this place. The vibes are high and the drinks are 10/10 especially the Negroni on tap. They have a few others too that I didn't get to try. If you can actually get a reservation try to sit outside on a beautiful day and just people watch in this beautiful part of WV. Several people got turned away at 5:15 ! I know everyone likes the martini HH but I haven't been able to get there yet, cause well some of us have to work. For food there were some hits and misses. We loved the bread (obvie). The burger was ok - the brioche bun just isn't it - it gets too soggy quickly. And, why are we putting a beet on it. Why make it dirty like that??? However, the meat was very flavorful. The diavolo chicken is awesome. Also potatoes and shisito peppers (with a spicy dry rub for dipping) were delicious. Max, our waiter, was great. Next time I would get a Negroni or Martini and some apps/sides to share with the table.
